The Venetian Towers, or Torres Venecianes in Catalan, are a pair of prominent twin towers located at the entrance to Plaça d’Espanya in Barcelona. These 47-meter high structures were built between 1927 and 1929 as part of the preparations for the 1929 Barcelona International Exposition.

Their design is notably inspired by the Campanile of St. Mark’s Basilica in Venice, hence their popular name. Each tower features a 7.2-meter square cross-section, with a base constructed of artificial stone, a main section of red brick, and a top section comprising a colonnaded viewing gallery topped by a pyramidal copper roof.

Originally intended to be temporary and subsequently demolished after the Exposition, their ornamental function as a grand entrance to the exhibition district (now Fira de Barcelona) and the avenue leading up to the Palau Nacional on Montjuïc led to their preservation. While they were once open to the public for climbing, they are generally closed now, with rare exceptions for special events. Over the years, they have undergone various restoration works due to the initially less durable materials used in their construction. They are recognized as protected structures by the Barcelona city council.
